In this 2018 Range Rover review, we’ll go over everything you need to know about this vehicle, so you can determine if it’ll be your next ride. Learn all about the SUV below and contact us at Land Rover Santa Fe if you have any questions.
If you want an SUV that can handle well on the city streets and off the beaten path, then this new SUV may be right for you.
It comes standard with a 3.0L supercharged V6 engine that delivers 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. For maximum power, there’s the available 5.0L V8 that puts out 557 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It rides comfortably and provides composed handling on the smooth, paved roads. However, it really shines when taken off-road.
Terrain® Response comes standard and will match the demands of the terrain that you’re driving on. There are seven settings to choose from: Comfort, Dynamic, Eco, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud and Ruts, Sand, and Rock Crawl. No matter which one you choose, the system will vary the responses of the vehicle’s engine, gearbox, differentials, and chassis systems. This way, traveling on these different paths will be a breeze.
Plus, the available Terrain Response® 2 system will automatically choose the appropriate setting. All you’ll need to focus on is driving while this feature will do all the hard work.
Interior Space & Amenities
Not only can the vehicle handle any road, but you’ll also feel comfortable within the Range Rover interior. The seats are made of Semi-Aniline leather. They’re also wide and deeply cushioned with soft foam interlayers. When combined with the available ‘Hot-Stone’ massage function, you’ll truly feel nice and relaxed.
The backseat passengers can also get comfy, as that row also has the ‘Hot-Stone’ massage feature. Plus, they recline back, so you can comfortably relax while someone else handles the driving.
Heated front seats come standard, while ventilated front seats, heated/ventilated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel are available. With these features, everyone on board can easily warm up or cool down, depending on the time of year.
They can also warm up or cool down with available Four-zone Climate Control. This system lets the driver, front-seat passenger, and each backseat passenger manually adjust the temperature level, as well as the direction and intensity of airflow.
The 2018 luxury SUV also provides many high-tech features to help keep you connected and entertained.
For instance, all your media options can be accessed on the standard 10-inch dual high-definition touchscreens. Plus, you can view information on one screen (like navigation), while using additional features (like SiriusXM® Satellite Radio) on the other, simultaneously.
Speaking of navigation, the Navigation Pro feature comes standard. With 3D maps, pinch-and-zoom gestures, and voice recognition, you can easily find your way around town.
The vehicle comes standard with a 13-speaker Meridian™ Sound System to hear all your media features easily. With the available 29-speaker Meridian™ Signature Sound System, the world’s first Trifield 3D technology takes surround sound to the next level.
