Range Rover Sport Engine Specs
The Sport has five engine options. The first is the standard 3.0L i6 MHEV engine. It produces up to 355 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The available options include:
- 3.0L i6 MHEV with 395 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque
- 5.0L Supercharged V8 with 518 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque
- 5.0L Supercharged V8 with 575 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque
These engines give you the ability to customize your power and capabilities. Plus, the highest available engine will allow you to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in merely 4.3 seconds!
Finally, there is the available diesel engine. This optional engine provides 254 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.
These engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Plus, the transmissions come with the CommandShift 2 gearshift, which provides a more forceful drive. It gives you the option of manual shifting through the gearshift or steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

However, you can fold down the standard 60/40 split second-row seats to gain access to the maximum amount of storage space.
